Limited T's are Kala Elite's custom one off builds. In excellent condition, 2019 build, features a Port Orford Cedar top with upgraded premium curly Hawaiian Koa back and sides, strung with Kala's custom low G Worth Brown strings.

This is my favorite sounding uke next to my custom Cornerstone! Tone is FAT, bell like, crystal clear, starts bright and ends warm with excellent sustain. It projects like it has built in reverb! Sound quality easily matches, IMHO surpasses, the top Hawaiian K brands. I've kept this as part of my collection while I've rehomed my Kanile'a and KoAloha. Now rehoming my baby because I commissioned Kala Elite to build me the XL Tenor version because I liked the tone so much!

Brand new, this uke retails $1199-$1049. Will rehome for $770 including shipping to CONUS. Buyer pays insurance.

Specs:

-Action at 12th fret raised to 2.7-2.8mm using wood veneer under the saddle because it makes it easier to pluck without hitting the fretboard. Veneer can be removed to lower action prior to shipping.
-Fretboard and bridge oiled with 100% mineral oil earlier this year.
-Stored in humidified environment

Limited T upgrades:
Higher grade of curly Koa (I do my best to capture curl in the dGBE vid linked below)
Back binding
Guitar pins

Comes with:
Alligator skin hardshell case
Certificate of Authenticity
-Installed under bridge guitar beads to increase vibration transfer to soundboard and protect string knots from getting pulled into bridge.
-I will include humidifier and custom tenor high dGBE tenor Uke Logic strings (strings have been played a handful of times)

Signs of wear (can be seen in linked pics):
-Minor scuffing on low G tuner face.
-Needle hole size pock mark under A string between sound hole and bridge. Only noticeable under direct light at an angle.
-String through hole for A string was smoothed out and as a result, slightly enlarged to fix a burr that caused A string to snap. Uke has recently been inspected and given a pass by Kala Elite techs.

Happy to schedule live virtual demo upon request. Mahalo!

Great uke. I just acquired the standard (can I say standard for Kala Elite) version and it's definitely a keeper alongside my MoonBird and Romero Grand Tenor. Smells awesome too! Haven't tried the Worths on it. Mine is strung with Romero Creations low G.

GLWS.

Thank you Canucke!

I've always been curious about Moonbirds but have not had a chance to play one live. How does your Moonbird tone compare?

I love my Kala Elite Custom. Good luck with the sale.

Just posted pics that show off the awesome koa curl. Also, will include a brand new set of custom Kala Worth Browns with Low G!
