A song from the niche sub-genre that I call I Will See You Again When This Certain Thing Happens Songs. Two-part harmony in the chorus, the harmony line sung an octave higher than written because I did it as written before and just wanted to hear how it sounded with high harmony. Only one stanza this time.

I caught the cold but felt like it was a good time to try recording this song with a cold. (I did it yesterday after work)
A quick and dirty take of The Werewolf.
a question- should i be picking harder on the D(bass) string (I am playing a bari here) so that it sounds more obvious? i hardly even picked it.

Also, I think Bobby (Bobjking) will do a fantastic job with this song. He is a Hurley fan way before I had even held an uke in my hands.....I will share my attempt anyway.....
BUT most importantly I wanna share the original here.
EDIT: I just realised I pronounced Risen as RISE-SEN. oh well....

Hurley's version of Mr. Man In The Moon is actually a cover itself, albeit radically different from the original. It's actually a Patty Loveless tune. She plays it much more straight country whereas Snock does it in a style almost like The Rolling Stones' 'Moonlight Mile'. Both versions are great!
(Moonlight Mile would also be a great one for anyone feeling ambitious!)

This is one of my favorite old moon songs that I've learned. It has lots of good rhymes in it, so I did both stanzas. I heard this one on one of the old music podcasts I listen to, which are Music From 100 Years Ago and The Shellac Stack, if anyone might be interested.

I've done a few moon songs - here's one for harvest. It follows the lifecycle of a personified plant from seeding to harvest to transformation into a new form. The process is pretty rough on Sir John, but he triumphs in the end.

I don't usually do trad songs - this was fun.

With gratuitous cockatoo flyby in the background, plus cockatoo backup vocals. (And a wallaby - slightly off-camera - sorry.)
