The Dutch version is different from the Danish lyrics in that the Dutch folks take everything, so that there's nothing left for the birds and the mice. The Danish lyrics mention that the poor and the birds also need to be fed.

This weeks theme inspired me to come up with a clawhammer version of a traditional Danish harvest tune, but it seems that time for recording is not something baby thinks is important .
I hope there will a chance to record it next harvest.
