Anyone ever think that this game wouldn't be possible in many other languages?

You’ll have to help me understand why not. If there were English- specific rules such as that adjectives must appear before, rather than after, nouns, I’m prepared to agree, but if I wrote, say, Icy Patch, would folk speaking Farsi find themselves excluded whilst Inuits could continue listing similar two-word combos for decades? (I’m not a linguist, so this isn’t intended as a criticism, but as a basis to foster interesting conversation.)

I was just thinking about how lots of words don’t have markers for being nouns vs adjectives. Like “road” could be either a noun or adjective, but I think in many languages there would be some sort of indicator as to which part of speech it is.
