Every level of player can take part, thanks to onscreen chords, with Ukulele Underground founder Aldrine Guerrero offering strumming, playing, and soloing tips for everyone from the newest beginner to the most advanced ukulele masters! With the help of Aaron "The Voice" Nakamura (aka @anaka), Kahai "The Legend" Furugen, and special guests including Funkmaster Mike Odo, @Brittni Paiva, and many more, you'll level up while laughing, playing, and singing along!

Thanks for busting out Harana! It's an old favorite and it's been so long since I've heard it. Your translated version is dope! So cool that you got to cruise with Parokya, play 'em your version, and they approved!

Dude, it's so cool to me that you know Harana and Parokya! Did you also have to dig deep into the courting traditions that Aldrine described?

This jam was one of the ones where I know hardly any of the songs. Some of this is a function of the spinning of the wheel to choose anything from the library, but some of the songs like this one and Put A Little Love (NOT the Jackie DeShannon/Al Green & Annie Lennox song) came from the live requests, and man, I just hadn't heard 'em before! Over HALF of this week's tunes were first-timers for me!

Still, this was one of my all-time favorite episodes! Lots of great stories and lots of laughs to go with the jams, and hot diggity, his version of Take On Me was one of the hottest I've ever heard him both sing and play! He was joking about his voice cracking on one of the falsettos because he was too tired to really shout it out, but I sure didn't hear it. And really, his solos and lead riffs through this whole show were on fire. It really slays me that he doesn't have the same rep as the other shredders out there, because I think he's as hot as any of those guys AND he can REALLY SING! This thing is KILLER!!!!

Back up a couple of minutes if you want to go over the chords and strumming with him (it really is quite playable as a strummer's tune, even with an E in there!), but I've got it cued up to the count-in so you can listen to this guy wailin' on it!
