Well Wishes (and Songs) for Tommy

Sounds like things continue to move in a positive direction. Outstanding job on your recovery to date. You should be justifiably proud of your progress.

My father had a fall Monday and what we thought was just soreness looks now like Somemkind of fracture around the artificial hip joint he had installed over 10 years ago,

I took him to emergency yesterday and he is currently bedridden. He is comfortable and has no pain, unless he tries to move his leg. We are waiting for a consult with an orthopedic surgeon today.

Thanks guys. Andrew you might ask your dad if the pain is all from the hip or if it comes from a different part of his leg than he would expect. Neurological problems can give you what I call ghost pain. If so talk to his doctor about neuronton/Gabapentin. Takes about a fortnight to kick in but it made my pain much more manageable.

Thanks Tommy! His latest films look clear and he is having very little pain and was allowed to go home today with some orders to keep off his leg for 6 weeks. We have made the necessary adjustments to his apartment and he is fully mobile with a walker and transport chair and a few adjustments to his furniture etc.

I am so glad to see him back where he wants to be. In his own place!

Prayers for you. Try hard and get well. Keep on playing.
