wood acclimation

I always let wood for backs, sides, & necks acclimate to my shop for a few weeks before using them for projects. However, I just purchased some 1/4" x 3/8" Red Spruce for bracewood. Any suggestions from you pros on how long to acclimate stripwood like this?

I use a pin type moisture meter. If it is less than 8%, it’s good to go.
