Someone famous like George Formby, Roy Smeck, Tiny Tim, Jake Shimabukuro, Taimane Gardner, Boy with Uke, George Harrison, etc etc. or maybe even some virtually unknown you ran across on Youtube or elsewhere...who is your favorite Ukulele artist(s)?

That would be Cliff Edwards. Incredible, unique style and technique, not to mention his remarkable vocal range and musical versatility.

Oh, my, Cliff Edwards, obviously, although his pal Buster Keaton deserves a mention. They even join forces in Doughboys!
More recently, Sam Muir, the amazingly versatile Al Wood, and ukulele geek Helen Arney who combines her interest in science with the uke!
Not really a fan of the breathy 4-chord strummers on YouTube but that's enough about me 😂
Mary Burke who does some lovely old-fashioned numbers on YouTube and 'lockdown favourites' Nathan Passchier, who has since defected to Soundcloud, but had a piece of his recorded by Sam Muir and from NL Liseth Horsten, who did some fun uke stuff during lockdown that I didn't pick up on till much later. Oh, and Alex Beds for his passion for the instrument.

Will have to look up the aforementioned. Thanks for the recommendations!

My favorite is Kimo Hussey, but I really love listening to Cliff Edwards, Roy Smeck, George Formby and Tiny Tim. There are more I enjoy, but I like these players the most.

Cali Rose (wife of Craig Brandau), Jake, Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain.

James Hill is my favorite by far. I’ve also started listening to Beirut and I really enjoy the songs when Zach Condon features the ukulele.

I take it by what I think of as generations of ukulele players. Of the early players, Cliff Edwards was easily my favorite. Then Lyle Ritz, and Ohta san. They were very universal players of many styles and genera. After that,Troy Fernandez and Kimo Hussey are my favorite high G and low G players. Jake is amazing, but I actually listen much more to Kalei and Corey, Troy and Kimo. I also love the way Kris Fuchigami interprets anything that he plays. Feng E is so revolutionary in terms of technique, that it is easy to overlook the fact that he is also extremely musical. His arrangements and style are wonderful.

Al Wood occasionally posts a UkeTube entry to his blog on ukulelehunt.com. I‘m usually familiar with about half the artists, the others being new to me. It’s a great way to discover new artists.

Here is his most recent entry. The video by the Moon Berries and Zaza is particularly charming.
Ya. i like the ukulelehunt page for sure. Thanks for the feedback. Here is my crap...lol https://soundcloud.com/tacticalukulele I only been playing for less than year, BUT LOVE THE UKE!!! This community is great.
