New Uke Day (NUD) Famous FS-1

Thanks to the fine folks here at UU, I have acquired a gently used Famous FS-1. I had been wanting to try the various sizes and now have 2 Tenors, 1 Concert and this Soprano. I was sort of expecting it to feel and sound small, but it doesn't. It also has this sort of percussive quality that I absolutely adore. Anyways, I doubt my UAS is satisfied permanently, but I think I am all set for now.

Music stands are really useful things. I have a portable music stand as well as a tabletop stand I haul out onto the kitchen table when I'm practicing at home.

So, I’ve had a couple of fusions in my neck. I sort of struggle sitting at my desk looking at my computer screen and playing, or setting music flat on a table. It makes things a lot more comfortable to set the stand where my posture is as good as I can get it. Highly recommended. I do recommend getting on with clips to hold the books in place instead of using a capo though.
