I'm not a big koa guy at all, but I love the way curly koa binding looks and use it almost exclusively now. Can occasionally be temperamental to bend. Weird... Looks great here.

Thanks guys. I haven't decided on Fretboard and Bridge yet. I was thinking more of a brown tone then Ebony, But then I've been been thinking maybe a maple fretboard with bound curry koa

You & I think alike. Ebony doesn’t blend as well as Rosewood on a Spruce Maple instrument, my opinion, and evident in my builds. You saw my recent one with a Rosewood FB bound with Koa - I think you’d like that combo as well on yours. Maple FB does sound interesting. Looking forward to what you come up with.

Agree completely. EI Rosewood bound with curly Koa always looks good to me. Below a couple of examples I did a few years ago.
