I guess I don't look at their site often. I hadn't seen it before. It's a beauty ; has been on their site for what seems to be a long time .

It is. I am the original owner, bought it from Aaron. Traded it away for a spectacular Mya-Moe tenor. This price is quite excellent. I cannot believe it lasted more than a day. Anyone commissions this build new and it’ll be six months and $1850 by the time it is all said and done. And well worth that price.Looks like a nice Beansprout alto for a great price is on Reverb: https://reverb.com/item/80646333-beansprout-827-spruce-and-myrtle-alto-2023?
Yea Paul Celentino is no longer around. I always wandered what happened to him.Dang, sold out. Clicked on the Etsy link to just see more but it was dead.
The nut width isn't listed in the ad and is not listed on the Klos website. Does anyone know what it is?Stu Fuchs is selling this Klos Carbon fiber Acoustic-Electric tenor for $750 plus shipping:

Other than a whole lot of cache, is the Jake built differently than other Kamaka Tenors? In case someone won the lottery or is getting a huge tax refund, there is a Jake Blue at Gryphon:

The Kamaka HF-3 D4I Jake Blue Tenor Ukulele is a collaboration between ukulele virtuoso Jake Shimabukuro and Casey Kamaka, the head of Kamaka’s design team. From my understanding, because it is built by Casey Kamaka, there might be small tweaks, because it’s a custom, even though it’s a production custom. So there might be innovative bracing. I will say I looked up those tuners, and I’m pretty sure they’re $300 apiece, I’m also fairly certain that they use master grade Koa on the Jake models, but just below that is what they use on the deluxe 2.Other than a whole lot of cache, is the Jake built differently than other Kamaka Tenors?
Yeah, those are some nice tuners. Pretty sure they're $377 for a set of 6, plus $35 for snakewood buttons like those on the Kamaka. Site says to contact for non-six string numbers like uke or 7 string. Still way high compared to others....I will say I looked up those tuners, and I’m pretty sure they’re $300 apiece...
Yeah I wasn’t exactly sure on my math, cause the site was a bit confusing, all I knew was they were very expensiveYeah, those are some nice tuners. Maybe this is the Atari limited editionHoly crap….look at this grain on this Kamaka HF-2. They tend to use very straight grains on standard models; so seeing curvature like this is WILD!
