Up for sale is a Kiwaya KTS-5 mahogany soprano, Japanese-made replica of a vintage Martin. Incredibly lightweight with great tone and projection. Fantastic intonation. These are hard to find and retail new for $700-$800 or so.
Specs: Satin natural finish, solid mahogany body, mahogany neck with 17 fret (12 frets clear) rosewood fingerboard, rosewood bridge, Gotoh nickel friction pegs with white buttons, 1-13/32" nut width, ~13-5/8" scale, 6-3/8" lower bout. Strung reentrant with Martin fluorocarbons. Includes super nice vintage-style O'ahu tweed case. Strap button installed.
Sound sample of another KTS-5 can be heard here and is a pretty accurate representation of the sound quality of this uke!
