Another Boring Strings Question...

I'm getting an electric Stagg in a few weeks o), and I have heard somewhere that for whatever reason, fluorocarbon strings work better with the pickups than other strings. Can anybody confirm this or recommend any other strings?

I have this Uke, and fitted Aquila strings. They sound great hooked up to my Laney amp. Love the weight of the Stagg, it feels tough and is very playable. I wish they did a Baritone version.

I used to own an Eleuke, and tried both Martin flouros and Aquilas on it. To my ears, the Aquilas won the day.
