Song Help Request Early Ukulele style playing?

Is anyone here familiar with the original or very early style and technique of playing ukulele, or even have a name for it? Here is the first solo ukulele recording, and I would love to learn how to play this way. If anyone has any other recordings,sheet music,books, or knows a few songs personally please let me know! I would love to hear some people playing in the early style (as was played on the first Ukuleles ever made) as well. Thanks!

If you search around for "Ukulele Method" you may find something to suit.
A couple spring to mind, the "Bailey Ukulele Method", the "Kamiki Ukulele Method" and "Santos Nunes Original Method" are all "old", but whether they cover exactly the style you're after I can't promise.
