Hi all,

Apologies if this already exists. I didn't find it when I searched for it. Does anyone have the lyrics to Fish Auction Man by Robert Kekaula? I've managed to figure out a good chunk of it, but there are some words I can't quite figure out, which might mean they're Hawaiian words or places. I definitely got Kaka'ako and i'a, but if anyone has the full set of lyrics that'd be amazing!

This is an island version of a tune with a different title. It was one of my late Dad’s favorites, thus one of mine!

Below is a link for lyrics for Leroy Van Dyke’s arrangement (The Auctioneer Song). One of the highlights of my life was seeing Leroy (then age 85 but belting it out like a teenager) perform his original “mainland” version of this fine tune, followed by the equally great Just Walk On By, live at the Grand Ole Opry in 2016.
