This banjolele has a nice, brass tone ring just like the banjolele deluxe. It is a great instrument for the price.

I've had at least 2 Gold Tones (still have 1), and they are really terrific banjo ukes! Better tone and playability than the vast majority of the vintage models I've had over the years.
Good luck- this should sell fast!

I have another one. It’s the deluxe version with a resonator. Doesn’t sound much different—it has a pickup installed, so I am keeping it

I have antique banjo ukes also—you are right, the gold tones compare well with the other ones

I like my BUC model Gold Tone. No tone ring or fancy inlay. It was the best version for the price, even came with a good hard case. I removed the possum plate resonator, just a round wood disc. Muffled the tone too much for my taste. Otherwise makes me happy.
