The Waterman arrived yesterday and the stock strings have settled in a bit.

It's a fun novelty ukulele with a quiet mellow sound.
The action on mine is on the high side at 9/64"; which can't be easily adjusted due to the one piece saddle and bridge and the zero fret... and yes, the silver paint on the frets wears off almost instantly when played. The geared tuners have some slop but still do the job. Comes with a nice lined gig bag (really just a bag... no padding) that has long drawstrings that allow it to be carried as a backpack.

I noticed the top on mine is warped around the bridge, most likely due to the string tension and minimal bracing (the bridge is sinking near the sound hole); I suspect this is common.

For ~$49 I believe you should be able to find an inexpensive uke that could be set up better and therefore more playable however it would be hard to find one that's more fun and water proof too!
