Mahalo .

Dan's Guitars and Good Guys Music were recommended .
But since I want to try several types of strings it would get pricey quickly .
So I did it myself .
I consulted a few videos , one which recommended laying the uke on a yoga mat .
But I ended up following this one : and added my yoga mat to the operation .

You could drive up to Haleiwa and have the guys at the Ukulele Site show you how to do it. They had an ukulele that was cut in half when I lived there for customers to practice on.

This video is really long, but it has lots of good tips on how to choose strings and how to prevent buzzing when you install strings.
