Hey Everyone! Here's another Venetian that just got finished up last week. I'm very happy with how this one turned out, it feels fantastic to play and sounds great!
Sound Demo :
For those who don't know, in the 1920's Lyon and Healy made a ukulele they called "The Venetian", It was a very simple budget ukulele for them (Poplar/Birch, No separate fretboard, rectangular bridge). This uke borrows the outline and assembly, but features a "smile" bridge and the appointments you'd see on Martin Ukulele.
Specs
-38mm nut
-42mm string width at bridge
-String height at 12th fret : 3mm
-Total weight : 10oz
-Solid mahogany top, back and one piece side
-W/B/W rosette
-Spanish Cedar neck (Stacked heel and scarfed headstock)
-Walnut Headplate, fretboard, and bridge
-Friction tuners with black buttons
-String Through bridge design
-Ebony nut and saddle
-Hand rubbed oil finish
Includes tweed hard shell case!
Let me know if you have any questions or would like any more pictures!
