This song, and story, really blow me away. This is from Ian's album Songs for the North Shore. I'd love to see him live someday, the intertwining of story and music is really amazing

It’s amazing how he managed to tell the story through his music. And the way he explains it makes it sound so much more impactful. I have listened to this countless times.
