I recorded this just now and I think it helped cure me of the excessive nostalgia I sometimes feel over my heavy metal days. I'm still a fan but have limited scope to record or perform any; I have neighbors who are touchy about noise and a medically fragile family member I cannot afford to frighten into a seizure with loud distorted guitars or bloodcurdling screams.
I was doing a few takes of this earlier and it definitely enlightened me about something...yelling above a loud instrument might be a cathartic and fun activity once...but after the third or fourth take it gets to just be a big technical challenge. Your mouth is tired from pronouncing long E vowels. Your lower abdomen is tired from supporting that loud belting. Your back is tired because you're also using it to support your lungs.
None the less...this IS a fun song. I do need some technical help with long E's but this was very fun to let loose on.
