Ebay global shipping

I am going to try out Ebay's global sales for some instruments made with all US wood. They make is sound simple, but what have your experience been with the service? I tried listing one that is made with Honduras Mahogany to see what would happen, and it was refused due to export restrictions. I often use Honduras Mahogany for necks, has that caused an issue? Mother of Pearl or Pua Abalone?

I've only sold books on Ebay global. It just sort of happens in the background. I don't think you would have a problem with Pau Abalone or Mop. Red Abalone maybe, as it is local to the West Coast. You can only sell pieces of Red Abalone or something that contains pieces if they were found on the beach. If the abalone was taken with a game license you can use pieces or things made with that shell only if you give it away. It's the same with antlers or any piece of a critter or plant taken with a game license here in CA.
