Switching between strings

Hello there.
Does the strings get bad if you switch between strings over and over? i mean using the same strings, for example Low G and a high G, switching between them.

I avoid switching strings because it's more of a PITA. It's easier to switch ukes rather than strings. Just my dos centavos. . . .

Yes i know it is a pain in the ass, but IF i wanted to do that, will it damage the strings?

Not if you are careful. On new ukes I spend a day going through several brands to find ones that suit it best. Always save those not kept on for next test
