I purchased a Vineyard Zebrawood tenor yesterday at Rockin Robin Guitars & Surf Shop ,,, on Shepherd. I hadnt been in there but once,just recently and saw the Zebra .
I believe I have looked at all the Houston area music stores ,,, and Rockin Robin has the best selection of ukes in the area. The owner collects ukes and I was able to see his not on display collection. He also have a neat collection hanging on the wall of the 'UKE ROOM"
He definately has a passion for ukes, and it shows in the ukes he has for sale.
Im not saying he has a MGM selection,,, but for Houston its great. He has some Vineyards , Ohanas , Lanakai, Martin & a Collings , oh and Corduba, which was surprisingly good, but out of my price range at this moment. {4something} He is also going to start to carry KoAlohas soon.
I just wanted to share the heads up , sure beats GC and the other places in town.
