I was looking at earnest's uke's, and saw some said "Bolt-on neck" Why are they bolted on instead of glued?

Has anyone had experince with "Talsma"? I checked out his site and fount the The "Grahamster" Electric uke, and just love the look and style of it. I havent been able to find a full electric uke anywhere, and this looks good, but does anyone has experince with him?
