Song Help Request Need help with Heart Shaped Tattoo by James Hill

I do love the song but I'm having a hard time finding music for it anywhere. I did figure out it's a sort of basic bluegrass progression but it's the details and I can't figure out the right hand stroke he's doing. Any thoughts or help would be awesome thanks.

Something like that. Just listen to the hisessions version and follow that idea of Down, down up, down up,... The first down emphisized.
