Just now as I was reviewing my email inbox, something caught my eye and made me wonder why my mouse cursor was floating at an odd, curving angle off the screen. Turns out, what I was seeing was a tiny insect crawling on the monitor screen.
Who knew there would come a day when technology would change not only the definitions but humans’ mental images of the English nouns “bug” and “mouse”?
