I am currently trying to play "Bridge Over Troubled Water" from Ukulele Mike Lynch's chord/melody arrangements for solo ukulele. I am unable to play many barre chords due to old injured hands.

Measure 4 has F 3211. Is there an easier fingering. I cannot barre here. I have always had trouble with this chord and just played it 3210 but I cannot here since the melody note is 1 on line 1'

Measure 12 has an E7 7877 and again in measure 14. Is there an easier chord fingering? So far I have been barring the 7th fret and deadening the 8, playing it 7X77. Also measure 13 has 5655 for a D7. When I barre with index or middle finger I cannot play the 8 note clearing the other strings.

Measure 18 has 3437 for a C7. On my tenor I can reach the melody note 7 but on my baritone I cannot make the stretch. Any ideas.

Hi, Johnny!

These alternatives might help you. If it doesn't work, we will try other alternatives. This F (Baritone's F) is mute on 2nd string. It is same as Jimi Hendrix's F (see the figure below).
